June 25, 2013 - Tattered Cover Book Store, Denver, CO

It was such a joy getting to meet Neil Gaiman and listen to him read from his new book, The Ocean at the End of the Lane. I started reading it when I arrived at the store around 5:30pm and only managed to put it down while he was speaking. (I finished it before I went to bed at around midnight, it was that good!) I also got my copy of Good Omens signed, which was amazing because it is definitely one of my all-time favorite books (and I routinely refuse to choose favorite books). I panicked when I got up to the table, and couldn’t think of anything good to say, but it was still amazing to get to be there for his last signing tour.

(Also, Neil, if there is any chance at all that you might ever see this… I refuse to burn Good Omens. It’s simply too wonderful and even more precious to me now. Sorry!)
